| Planet Scuba is a Factory Authorized Warranty Service Center for all of the dive equipment manufacturers we represent. Our Repair Technicians are also factory trained and highly skilled in repairing and servicing your diving equipment. Our criteria for servicing life support equipment are the highest standards in the diving industry, bar none. We use only manufacturer's recommended service repair kits and factory parts for all service. This results in "like new" performance and reliability after each annual service is completed. We also warrant all new manufacturers' parts for one year, and a 90-day guarantee on our labor. Planet Scuba will gladly give you a quote for service on your equipment and will notify you prior to service on anything out of the ordinary that is found during our diagnosis. Please note: Remember to bring in your warranty cards and/or proof of purchase receipts along with past service history documentation if your regulator is being serviced under the manufacturers "warranty" program. To achieve and maintain that goal: We utilize the best and latest diagnostic system in the industry Our Technicians maintain current manuals and attend regular manufacturers continued education courses We use state-of-the-art cleaning and testing equipment Our "scuba air" is tested on a quarterly basis to ensure that it exceeds the requirements for CGA grade "E" breathing air. While all dive stores may not be able to afford to have this independent inspection performed, we feel like those who are filling scuba cylinders can't afford NOT to have this done! Some of the services we provide include: · Regulator Service: Completed on an annual basis to maintain warranties. Using manufacturers parts we replace all internal o-rings, seats and seals. ·
BCD Service: · Computer Service: Battery replacement and gauge-wet test. · Tank Services: Cylinder visual inspections, which should be done yearly utilizing our new visual inspection system called the Visual Plus. This system uses an eddy current testing which detects cylinder cracks that are invisible to the human eye. HYDRO Required service every five years by DOT standards. ·
